Quick Little Kindle App Review #1

Dora’s ABCs Vol.1

Mario liked tracing the planes through the clouds and making letters, but was bored with moving the nuts to the letter to make a picture. He wanted to skip to the tracing part.  That was the only interesting part.  They have one for lower case one for upper and one for both so we could change them around. He did not like the letter and picture match since we are learning how to write and are not sure what words start with what letter just yet.  We’ll work on that one, though.

Toddler Food (Spanish)

Mario really liked this one because the little guy eats the food you drag to him and makes a funny munching sound. He thinks it’s really funny that he doesn’t bother to peal the banana or take the stems off other fruits and even eats a plate and chopsticks for rice.  A man’s voice tells you what it is in Spanish, which helps him listen to the names of the foods in the game.  But really, he just wants to feed the guy.

Trains, Planes & Sea Vehicles Puzzle for Toddlers

His favorite one, although not in Spanish, is Trains, Planes & Sea Vehicles Puzzle for Toddlers. He can drag and drop puzzle pieces which he can then make spin and make noises.  Once the puzzle is complete, there is cheering and balloons begin to fly up the screen which he can tap to pop.  He loves the sounds and figuring out where the pieces may go.

Do you play or let your little ones play any games on your Kindle or smartphone? If so, what are they and how do you like them.  Do you have any suggestions on bilingual games I can use for future reviews?  Would you like to add your own reviews?  I know, so many questions, but I would love to hear from you.

(If you would like to share my blog, I would be so grateful.  You can also find it in Spanish at www.bilinguazo.worpress.com and on Facebook under www.facebook.com/bilinguazo. Thanks a bunch!)
